Blossoming from Within: How Amrit and Gi Dhanoa Are Redefining Wellbeing in Leadership

In a world where productivity often overshadows personal growth, sisters Amrit and Gi Dhanoa are trailblazing a new path, one where leaders and professionals are empowered to lead with empathy, presence, and purpose. Through their London-based company, ublossom.weblossom, they are transforming the way businesses approach wellbeing, one conversation at a time.

From Corporate Roots to Purpose-Led Impact

Before founding ublossom.weblossom, Amrit built her career in corporate Employee Reward & Recognition roles, working with a range of organisations to support staff motivation and engagement. Whereas Gi was in the Project Management discipline working in the Construction & Aviation sector. But it was during the COVID-19 pandemic that a shift occurred. With time to reflect, they found themselves asking a powerful question: “We have so much value and learns to share, so why don’t we move into the mindset and wellbeing sector ourselves, and contribute”

What began as a voluntary community project quickly flourished into a full-time business. They started by facilitating community workshops focused on personal growth, recognising that real, meaningful change happens when individuals reflect internally and then bring those changes outward to benefit others. “Helping people is deeply embedded in our identity,” they explain. “There’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing someone truly grow and live to their full potential.”

What’s in a Name?

The name ublossom.weblossom was born during an ordinary evening at home. “It was after dinner,” Amrit recalls. “I just turned to Gi and said, ‘What do you think of the name ublossom.weblossom?’ and she loved it.” The name perfectly encapsulates their philosophy: by working on yourself first, your wellbeing, mindset, and habits, you begin to thrive. And in doing so, you create the conditions for others to blossom too.

The word "blossom" holds personal significance for the sisters, who had previously led community workshops under that theme. The final touch? Their mother, recognising their vision and spirit, gifted them the name.

Their Mission

Amrit and Gi’s work centres around supporting individuals in high-pressure roles, such as founders and business leaders, who are often overlooked when it comes to wellbeing support.

One niche that emerged organically for Amrit and Gi is their focus on male leadership wellbeing. Though they inclusively work with all leadership teams, they noticed in particular, male leaders were more comfortable being in vulnerable, and sharing their inner thoughts and emotions. In these sessions, male leaders express themselves, explore their stresses, and connect emotionally; something society often discourages. “Men appreciate having that neutral space,” they note. “It’s important that men have the opportunity to speak openly without the fear of judgement and mounting pressure.”

They support leaders across all sectors, including C-suite executives, professionals and business owners, with issues ranging from developing emotional intelligence, improving stress management to work-life balance, communication, and self-confidence.

Bespoke by Design

Bespoke is more than a buzzword for the Dhanoa sisters. Every client engagement begins with a consultation to assess needs. From there, they design a fully customised coaching or wellbeing programme. Their support often extends over six months to a year, allowing for authentic growth.

“We’re very solution-driven,” they explain. “We believe we are making a difference, where it’s needed the most, and that can take time.”

Collaborative Impact

Amrit and Gi have collaborated with organisations like PureGym, NHS, Metro Bank, and The Veterans Association, to name a few. Their services range from bespoke Mindset & Wellbeing Workshops, Leadership Away Days, Keynote Speaking and Executive Coaching and Mentoring.

Locally, they have built strong partnerships with The Massage Company, Hi-Ten, PureGym and Greenka, running male leaders and professionals’ wellbeing breakfast events in West London; sessions that focus on emotional wellbeing, clarity in decision-making, and practical techniques for reducing stress.

Their approach to partnership is refreshingly human: “When values align, that’s where the magic lies. Mindset and wellbeing should be fun, open and positive. It’s about identifying gaps and seeing them as opportunities to grow.”

The Coaching Philosophy

Amrit, a certified coach, leans heavily on her intuition when working one-to-one. While the sisters draw from a variety of coaching frameworks, their greatest strength lies in being present and deep listening. “The frameworks are there as guidelines,” they say. “But it’s about adapting to the client’s needs in real-time.”

Their emotional intelligence is finely honed; not through textbooks, but through real life experience. “We didn’t know there was a term for it,” Gi admits. “But over the years, we’ve become attuned to what people were seeking. We can read a room very quickly and adjust accordingly to ensure there is a positive outcome for all.”

How Do You Measure a Feeling?

Although much of their work focuses on personal growth, something difficult to quantify, their results speak for themselves. After completing their tailored programmes, clients regularly report improved relationships, reduced stress, and greater clarity about their goals and purpose in business and their personal lives.

What’s Next: Launching Global Retreats in 2026

The sisters are preparing to launch holistic wellness retreats in 2026 for male leaders and founders. Set in destinations such as Scotland, Italy and Africa, the retreats are designed to remove clients from their usual stressors and immerse them in transformation. These retreats will focus on restoration, self-exploration, and empowerment.

They also plan to expand their events in 2025, with a particular focus on immersive, reflective experiences that positively challenge and inspire. Interested readers are invited to email info@ublossomweblossom.com for more details.

Wisdom for Today’s Leaders

When asked what one mindset shift they would encourage leaders to make, Gi reflects: “Listen and guide. Don’t just direct, empower your team to come up with their own solutions. Let them make small errors and support them to pivot. That’s how the next generation of leaders will excel, through their own experiences and learns.”

Lessons in Client Readiness

While their work is deeply rewarding, the sisters are honest about the challenges. Chief among them? Readiness. “Potential clients have to want the support and are dedicated to change,” they explain. “If someone’s in denial, or not ready to reflect, it’s unfortunate and unlikely they will achieve the results they are hoping for.”

As Amrit and Gi continue to support leaders and professionals across industries, one thing remains clear:  when you take the time to blossom, you give others permission to do the same.
