LoveBrain, Brutal Honesty, and Unlocking Your Potential: An Interview with Francesca dal Corso
Francesca dal Corso doesn’t just run a company. She’s on a mission to help people think better.

The co-founder of LoveBrain, Francesca trained as a lawyer in Milan before taking an unexpected turn. “Law was the roadblock I needed to start asking questions about my brain,” she says. Struggling with traditional learning methods and unaware she had ADHD at the time, she set out to improve her ability to retain information. That journey led to an obsession with memory techniques, focus tools, and reading strategies. She eventually built LoveBrain from scratch with just £38 and a second-hand laptop.
In the early days, Francesca was part of a Hammersmith-based business network that gave her the space and support to test her ideas. Those connections proved vital as she began building LoveBrain into a recognised name. What began with small community workshops in West London quickly grew, helping people across industries develop practical tools to think clearer and perform better.
Since then, LoveBrain has reached thousands, from corporate clients like the NHS and Google to individuals battling their own self-doubt around focus and memory. Its approach combines neuroscience with hands-on practice, helping people not just understand how their brains work but actively train them.
“We don't just teach theory,” Francesca explains. “People need to see their memory improving, even just in a workshop setting. That belief, seeing it happen, is what shifts their mindset.”
A hallmark of Francesca’s approach is her trademark honesty. “Brutal honesty doesn’t need to be ruthless,” she says. “It just needs to be genuine.” It’s part of what makes LoveBrain different. Feedback is direct but compassionate, empowering rather than diminishing. She also speaks candidly about her own neurodivergence. While diagnosed with ADHD, she doesn’t let it define her. “It's a label, not an identity. I have it, and I’ve learned to manage it. That’s the message I want to share.”
Francesca speaking about being an entrepreneur
When asked what success looks like, Francesca doesn’t talk about applause or social media. “It’s not what people say after the workshop. It’s the messages months later, someone who’s changed jobs, started a business, or applied the tools to their life. That’s when I know it’s working.”
So what’s next for LoveBrain? A Netflix documentary is on the way, a growing corporate training branch, and new products in development. Francesca and her team recently trained 200 staff at EY in a session that mixed practical memory techniques with interactive learning. “It went down really well, from associates to partners, people were engaged. That’s the kind of impact we want to scale.”
Her parting advice to readers who believe they have a ‘bad memory’?
“Your brain listens to what you say every day. If you tell yourself you’re forgetful, your brain will build around that belief. Pause. Challenge it. You probably just haven’t learned the right tools yet.”
Francesca’s journey is a reminder that unlocking your potential starts not with a new app or productivity hack, but with the way you speak to yourself. LoveBrain runs regular masterclasses across London and online, open to anyone who wants to improve their focus, memory and learning skills. Find out more at www.lovebrain.com.
